Ok, I have already missed a day
OK, I missed a post yesterday, Sorry, but you didn't miss much. I took Reagan to the doctor because she wasn't feeling well, the Dr. said it was just her allergies, and gave her a new allergy medicine, and said to start back on the breathing treatments, as needed. The weather here was beautiful, so we had dinner out on the deck, and stayed outside till dark. Today, I got up and made breakfast, and started cleaning house, and then we went to Anita's soccer game at noon, she actually kicked the ball today, we were so proud!! Then my mom came and had lunch with us, and now we are getting ready to do Anita's homework assignment, she has to make a family tree. This should be fun!!! Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend, I can tell you know I will not be posting tomorrow. So until Monday, stay safe!!

Only 1 more day till the Weekend!!
I can not wait until Friday afternoon, we all actually can sleep in a Saturday!!! Yeah!! Well I went to pick Reagan up from school today, apparently, the terrible twos are finally here, she was constantly in trouble, for taking everything away from all her friends, and when we got home, she continued to torment her sister. Anita got a homework assignment today, we have to make a family tree over the weekend, including pictures, to be shown to the class on Monday, so we have our work cut out for the weekend. Bryan will be home all day Saturday with us, YEAH!!! The girls are always happy when daddy spends the entire day with them. We have a soccer game at noon, and have the rest of the day to do whatever we would like. Anita just informed me she was the "Weather Girl" today at school.. This is her week to be the Special Friend in her class, which means, she got to take her favorite book, toy and pictures of her family to school or the week. Well that is all for now, today has been very normal, nothing interesting to tell. Until tomorrow, Have a BLESSED day!!

One of those days!!!!!!
Have you ever wished someone would pinch you and you would wake up from the nightmare you are having? That is how I felt this morning, I wanted to lay back down and start all over again!!! Here is the recap:
we wake up only to struggle with both girls about getting ready for school and MOPS, Reagan was determined to not do anything this morning. We get ready and get everything together, load up the car, buckle everyone in , and go to turn the key, only to hear a CLICK. The battery was DEAD!!! So my first thought was to call Bryan and have him reassure me everything will be OK and to help me. Then I remembered Anita had to be at school in 5 minutes, so I get in touch with the neighbor that is backing out of her driveway to take her son to school, and ask her to take Anita with her. She was my first blessing this morning. So Anita is taken care of, Now what? Well you can't get to the battery with it in the garage, because I have to pull all the way up to the wall to fit in there and close the door. So I thought I had a bright idea, (which really turned out to be VERY STUPID). I put the van in Neutral with Reagan still strapped in, crawl to the front on the van, with my legs against the wall to push it out of the garage. ( to the naked eye, the driveway looks very flat), as the van starts to roll, it picks up speed (towards my neighbors house), I take off running, open the door, jump in to slam on the brake, and put the van in park, and then realize how stupid I was, Reagan and I both could have really gotten hurt. That was blessing #2. Then I call my dad's friend, who takes care of our vehicles, since dad has been gone, for him to instruct me on how to remove the battery cables, clean them to see if that was the problem, only to hear the familiar Click, when I turned over the key, so he confirmed to me it was the battery, and I needed to find someone to jump start it for me. So another neighbor walking down the sidewalk with his dog comes to my rescue. Blessing #3. I finally get the van started and start to make my way to the auto parts store to purchase a battery, as all the lights on the dash start flickering, and the gauges go crazy, and I pray for God to get us their safely. Blessing #4 We finally make it there, got the battery, and off we went to MOPS. Bryan showed up at the store, to offer help, which I felt bad about, because I didn't know he was coming. What a wonderful husband he is!!!!! So for the rest of the day, I have counted my blessings, and praised God for the beautiful day, and prayed that tomorrow is less hectic!! I hope everyone else has had a GREAT day!!

Hello all!! Lisa came up with this great idea to let you all know what is going on with our family and hopefully we'll start getting more frequent updates about all of you too.
As you all know, of course, I'm still a professional firefighter/emt. Been with the City of Hendersonville for almost 8 years now. Love the profession, hate the pay, that's why I've taken on a new second job at the Hyatt Place in Hendersonville. They work great around my fire dept. schedule and it's a fun group of people to work with every day.
Looks like our heat is finally going to break starting on Thursday. We're supposed to get some much needed rain tomorrow and Thursday and highs will finally back off into the mid 80's. Set more records yesterday and today for highs in the mid 90's. Been a long hot, miserable summer around here, we are well over 16 inches short of rainfall for the year, so any rain is good rain at this point.
Predictions are coming true in the sports arena already. The Vikings look like they have a rookie starting at QB (they do for those of you who are not football literate) with a couple of has beens backing him up. The Twins self imploded and are in danger of not keeping it above .500. The Titans are looking great, best run defense in the league and Vince Young under center have people around here thinking playoffs already, it's still early though. Hockey season is under way, the Predators are close to coming to terms with a local group to buy the team and keep them from moving, they've been impressive in the 4 preseaon games so far.
It's bed time, gotta be up early. From all of us in the TN Boyer household to all of you, welcome to our blog and God Bless. Love y'all, Bryan

Welcome to our Blog
I decided this would be a good way for everyone to know what is going on in our life, since everyone is so busy, and it is hard to just pick the phone up and call. I will try to post everyday, but i am not promissing anything, I am going to try and get Bryan to help. I hope everyone is doing well. We are just busy with school, church, MOPS and soccer. Anita has practice twice a week, and games on Saturday's. She is trying to adjust to the "going to school everyday" each morning she wakes up and says, "Do I have school today?" Reagan goes 2 days a week, so I have a little time to get things done, with out any kiddos. I have a prayer group I go to on Tuesdays, to pray over the kids, and Anita's school, and our family. It has really halped me to keep the focus!!!
Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus 1 Thess. 5: 16-18
Anita had her first subsitute teacher today, and didn't seem to care to much for it, she asked me if Mrs. Michelle would be back tomorrow, because she didn't want to go to school, if she wasn't there. I reassured her that everything would work out, and that hopefully her teacher would be back tomorrow, and if not, it would be OK.
We are planning a trip to Alabama in a few weeks to see Bryan's brother Steve and his wife Jeanette. They just recently moved there. Before that all of Bryan's family was at least 9 + hours away. We haven't seen any of his family in almost 2 years. We haven't been able to afford the trip up there ( it is very expensive with 2 little ones). Bryan is very excited to finally have family just a couple hours away, that we can take quick weekend trips to visit. (or even day trips)
We have also decided to go to the beach for Thanksgiving this year, we are going with my mom, my brother, his wife and their two boys. We are going to start making new traditions, Mom is ready for changes now.
Until next time.
