We Love America

Tonight is Anita's Grand performance of her program "We Love America". We have been working on this for about 6 weeks now. She will be portraying Laura Bush, and she will have to say: "I am Laura Bush a former librarian and teacher, one of my concerns as first lady will be national literacy, I want to promote programs for adults and children. To ensure that all Americans have opportunities to read successfully" She is really excited and has been counting down the days. I was really surprised at how fast she learned her speech, I really thought it was going to be a struggle. I will post pictures, hopefully tomorrow!!! I was also impressed that she had to learn 10 songs, one being all the states, and she recites all 50 states in alphabetical order. I couldn't do that till I was in middle school, I am been amazed at what they expect of kindergarteners.

A Wonderful Way to think

Someone e-mail this to me, and I printed it out and taped it to my monitor, and I need to have one for my fridge and the car also.
it says:
In Happy moments, PRAISE GOD
In Difficult moments, SEEK GOD
In Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD
In Painful moments, TRUST GOD
In Every moment, THANK GOD

you know as you go through your day you sometimes lose focus of this, and I need to put this in places that will remind me that GOD is in control, and that everything will ultimately be for HIM.

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Ready for the Kids to go back to School

Ok, I love my kids, but when you spend. Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon with them without a break, it gets hard. Because they are so use to being at school, and having a lot of activities to keep them busy. I did not plan for this many "snow days". They were bored by Friday, and were tired of all of their toys. We went outside for a little while, but then Reagan started whizzing, and we had to go in. We spent most of the morning on Saturday at the doctors office, to find out, that they finally diagnosed her with full asthma (they were saying it was seasonal) gave her 4 RX, and off to Walmart we went to find out that one of the prescriptions totaled over $200.00. by this time it was 1:30, the girls were whinning because they were hungry. We finally got home, eat lunch, and we all decided to have a nap. Sunday we skipped church because Reagan still wasn't feeling well, she woke up scared because she couldn't see, because her eyes were matted together, so I got a warm rag and took care of that, gave her a breathing treatment, and I had to meet Bryan at church to drop the girls off, so I could go to work. Wow what a weekend!!

My first CVS trip

OK, I have been hearing all about it, and I finally decided to try it.

I printed all my coupons last night, went through the sales flyer, to see where to get my most EB's. I used 1-15 off, 1-10 off, 3-5off, 3-4off, 3-3off, 2-2off, plus manufacture coupons I had from the paper, and ones I printed off the computer.I spent $120.00, and paid $22.00, and received Around 35 EB's. I asked the cashier, if I could come back today, since coupons expire tomorrow, and she said I could go put my stuff in the car and come back in. I had the same coupons as above, plus my EB's and spent $145.00 and only paid $10.78, and came out with 29 more EB's, so basically I got $265.00 worth of stuff for FREE!!! I have attached photos, The bottom photo was the 1st visit, and the top photo is the 2nd visit.
